Such a great invention! It is a lot of fun, too. I have two small kids and this has turned into a really fun activity for them, plus it gets them to eat some fruit! $50 is a bit steep but I think we will be using this for years to come. :) I also bought the cookbook and I hichly recommend that. It is too bad they couldn't include a small cookbook with the pop maker.
I had been looking at this unit on and off for about a year after seeing it on display in a store and finally took the plunge and got it. This is absolutely the best investment I could have made for my family. I can now make "healthy" lower sugar, cool treats that taste great and stay away from the fattening ice cream we used to eat.<br><br>We always keep it stored in the freezer so it's ready to go whenever we want a treat. It's easy to tell when they are frozen and ready to remove and it only takes a few minutes. Have not had any issues getting the pops to come out. The only hint that I can pass along is to lubricate the handle (inside screw) with a little vegetable oil so that when turning the knob to remove the pops it turns so much easier and doesn’t grind metal to metal. <br><br>Have been experimenting with lots of new recipes and couldn’t be more pleased with this unit. <br>
This really does freeze popsicles in about seven minutes but you need to do a few trial runs to get used to just how it works. Still, everything I've made with it has turned out good.
We have had lots of fun with the Zoku pop maker. Great purchase the grandchildren (8-12) can do it themselves.
Thought I would love it, but the super tool was broken, it wouldn't stop spinning. My pops came out in pieces & couldn't get the rest out.<br>
