I've used this yogurt maker a LOT since it arrived. It works exactly as it should, and while the absence of a timing cycle/warning bell was somewhat a surprise, putting a note on the counter works just as well. :)

The instructions are comprehensible and comprehensive. They offer several suggestions, but don't mention that post-heating straining can also improve yogurt's consistency, which is great for people who love the thick stuff. I also find 6 hours to be insufficient in attaining proper consistency--8 hours is what I use, even with whole milk, but your mileage will vary.

Instead of using the seven supplied pots to prepare the yogurt (since those make straining hardly possible without a dishwasher!), I decided to save myself some hassle and make the yogurt in a Corningware French White 1.4 L (1.5 qt) dish, which fits the appliance just great and contains the equivalent of those 177 mL pots. Just follow your recipe, don't cover the Corningware, and you're on your way. BTW, 1.2 L of strained yogurt will give you one 750 mL pot and the FrenchWhite dish is 6,75

The Euro Cuisine has been working very well for me. I've tweaked the recipe from the manual a bit (you don't need to use a full 6 oz of starter--two tablespoons will do). Using a good quality plain yogurt as starter, I've been getting thick, custard-like yogurt that both my wife and I enjoy. The glass jars are very convenient for washing in the dishwasher. No regrets at all about the purchase!

I am enjoying using my yogurt maker. It is very easy to use and maintains the temperature required for making yogurt. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in using less preseratives and making their own yogurt. LJ

Love it! The instructions are easy to follow and give lots of options. I thought I enjoyed yogurt before, but there's no comparison between the homemade and store bought varieties. If anyone's trying to decide if they should make their own yogurt, I'd highly recommend it and I highly recommend this yogurt maker.

The milk prep is a bit tiresome (scald, strain, etc.) but the end product is well worth it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
