I have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to find a contolable deep fryer. This is the answer. Unlike other fryers , this one actually lets you see the temperature. The digital feature will not "rub off" the temperature setting after a few uses so you have to estimate where the oil temperature is unless you have a thermo. which only get in the way of the frying procedure. Great product and a good value. Just took "forever" (months) to get it.

The deep fryer heats quickly and maintains a constant heat. A plus is that it alerts you when it has reached the set temperature. Because of the consistancy in temp, food items cook quickly and to a golden brown. I absolutely love it. Because of the size of the unit, under cabinet space is a luxury. Is there an appliance cover available for the XL Digital Deep Fryer?

slow heating,not enough power to keep temperature up.cool down when droping food.would not buy again...

I can not count the times the handle has come off while the basket is down in the oil.

So happy with this item, couldn't have found a better fryer for less.
