Infuse your chicken with intriguing flavors using this vertical roaster - it will be the most flavorful and moist chicken you've ever had! Made of quality, 18/10 stainless steel, this roaster begins with a vertical roasting stand that attaches to a large, round drip tray (the stand collapses for easy storage). In the center of the drip tray sits a round dish with cone-shaped top. Fill the round dish with herbs, spices, cider, juices or beer; as your chicken rests on the stand, the aromas and flavors from the liquids and herbs pass through the perforations on the cone-shaped top, filling the cavity of the bird and adding moisture to the meat as it roasts. Instructions on using the vertical roaster are included.

Great product, easy to clean.

This vertical roaster is very nice, very stable, qood quality product made of 18/10 stainless steel. The chicken cooks nicely, crispy outside and juicy inside. I am surprised that it is easy to clean, compared to the charbroil non-stick one that I replaced where the teflon was peeling-off after years of use. I rated this 4 out of 5 because I want to see more improvements on this product in the furure. This would have been perfect if (1) the drip tray is deeper so I don't have to put it in another pan to protect the oven from grease boil over and (2) if the holes in the cone infuser are bigger so the steam from the juice cup can escape and get to the chicken for more flavor.

Works great and renders most of the fat from the chicken, left the skin crispy and the chicken was every moist. Best if you set it in a shallow pan to catch any overflow drippings. Also used it to roast a duck with the same great results and none of the smoke from oil splattering that usually happens when roasting duck. Very easy to clean up!

A little cumbersome to put together, plus it won't allow you to place the chicken head down, which is the ideal position to cook it in. The head cavity isn't large enough to accommodate the frame.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are a convenient and healthy source of protein- but they often lack flavor, and their leanness makes them unsuitable for long cooking times. For extra flavor (and lower cost), look for bone-in chicken breasts or chicken thighs. If you're concerned about fat, just remove the skin before eating.
