In the Burgundy region of France is the legendary maker of fine French cookware named Emile Henry. There, potters still hand craft each piece from the local Burgundy Clay - one of the purest of clays, and finish each one with a process known as CERADON, which makes them extremely solid and durable. Containing no lead, the clay is one of the best materials for baking and serving.

I was expecting this to be a bit bigger than it was. I was disappointed in the size, but i still like it for the price! Overall, its a good buy.

I loved the size of this baking dish...just right for two and cleaning is a breeze no matter what is baked on. The new urban colours are great.

But a great size for a small family (two or three). Color (figue) is beautiful, and, as always with Emile Henry, quality is wonderful.
