Unison Nonstick Skillet Set with Lids (4-pc.) by Calphalon

While I haven't had these two pans for very long, but the use I've subjected them to tells me that they are superb. And, to top it off, they were on sale as a "Twofer". What's not to like. they are of the "Slide" variety and, trust me, they live up to that claim. No sticking what so ever. Since I'm using try-ply stainless pans for anything that needs a fond, I don't know if I'll ever have an opportunity to use their "Sear Non-Stick" pans, but I'm certain they'll perform as well as these do.

I purchased these skillets to use in my restaurant, to make breakfast scrambles, and they are awesome!!

I love Calphalon products, and these pans are the best! And, the price was great.

I bought these pans and started using them the moment I got them. They are the best set I have ever owned, nothing sticks to them!!!!

So far I like the pans just wish the lids would be included instead of a separate item

these pans look great, but I have not used them as of yet. reason for buying them is that they can go from stove top to the oven with the lid. can't wait to come up with something good to cook with them.

over the years i have purchased several nonstick skillets
the problem i had with them was they did not sear the steaks, burgers, chops etc
the calphalon does, and does it well
also as promised, easy to clean, and dishwasher friendly

Just as expected

I love it! With only a small amount of butter used (literally not even 1/2 teaspoon), just for flavoring, my eggs flowed around the pan without sticking!

These skillets have excellent non-stick qualities.. Even when cooking eggs with cheese they are easy to clean. Let cool, soak a few minutes and wipe clean with little or no effort. They do not appear to have any hot spots and cook well on med to low heat seatings.

Although this set was on sale, I paid more than I would have paid for a set of skillets. I have not been disappointed in their use. They are really easy to cook with & very easy to clean. I also like the handles that can be put into a hot oven. I would buy more for my daughter if the price was a little lower.

I purchased this particular set of skillets because the handles are attached to the skillets by three bolts and the skillets are heavier than many of the others I have purchased. The bases are much thicker and radiate and maintain heat much better that any of the others I have purchased. The non stick surface is also different because it seems to be stronger (and is silver) plus the instructions indicate that they are dishwasher safe. Many of the calphalon products are to be handwashed.

Although I have owned the Nonstick Skillet Set only for just a short time period, I find that the set does an excellent job cooking food. Also, maintenance is easier than one usually expects. I look forward to cooking many delicious meals.

Lids for my Calpalon Unison 8" and 10" omelet pans fit perfectly. They have a nice big handle with glass so I can see my food cooking without having to lift a lid to check on progress of my meal.

I am very happy with my purchase. They are quick to heat up, cook evenly and clean up beautifully. I wish I did a little more research before buying. I didn't know there was a difference between these and the "searing pan" series. I may have bought those instead, but they are very pricey, especially so after I've just purchased these at a much more reasonable price. All in all, very happy. Thanks Calphalon.

Very attractive addition to the skillets...

Calphalon pans, etc., have always been our favorites. These are no exception...love them

I have been looking for a replacement for my very expensive 10" nonstick All Clad skillet that had lost it's "nonstickness" after a couple of years.. I vowed I would never buy such an expensive skillet ever again since after time with heavy use I realize a nonstick skillet "dies". I love these two pans because all things slide right out after cooking. The price for such high quality was also appealing. I use the 8" more than I expected. It is perfect when I want eggs and my husband wants the pre-prepared pancakes from the freezer.
I've never bought a Calphalon pan before. I will again.

Plain and simple, I'm a cheapskate. My husband calls me "thrifty". Despite this fact, I broke down and purchased some Calphalon pans (12", 10", and 8" omelette pans with lids). Have to say, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made! This pan is fantastic! Cooks evenly, see through lid is a plus, and it cleans up so easily. Much better than traditional "non stick" pans. Take it from the cheapskate, you want these pans! I'll be buying more Calphalon pans in the future.

I never realized how great and handy glass lids are until now. It's wonderful to be able to see how your food is doing without always having to lift the lid. They fit the omelette pans perfectly and I'm glad I thought to get these at the time of ordering my pans.
