wrong size, hot handle

I ordered this lid to replace one that broke. But your current lid for a 2 qt saucepan is not a good fit for the 2 qt saucepan we purchased several years ago. Further, the lid that can with the set we originally purchased had rubberized handles that did not heat up. The replacement that I purchased is metal and gets quite hot.

my old lid had the handle break off, I needed a new one. Only one 2 quart size pan lid was available, I assumed it would fit. It is almost too small and is of a slightly different design than my pot - it fits well enough though so I am pleased with it.
