Lids

Great product except for the lids. For some reason, Calphalon decided to put a "lip" where the metal meets the glass, instead of being flush like our older model. This creates a somewhat uncomfortable experience when washing the lids and also a difficult area to clean if washing by hand. Don't know why the design was changed but I believe it's a major flaw. I would like feedback from Calphalon designers why they made the change.

Slide and Sear technology is great

We had an older generation of the non-stick Calphalon product and found searing meat and sauteing vegetables was a problem. The new Slide and Sear technology solves it all! We chose this set because it offered a perfect mix of form and function, at the right price. I'm writing this review 45 days after purchasing and I'm still very pleased with the product.

Non-Stick & Dishwasher Safe

It was a pleasure to cook rice, turn the pot over the casserole and have ALL the rice slide right out. There were about 10 grains left in the pot, let it cool off in the sink and they rinsed right out. Put it in the dishwasher and the pot came out clean, dry and no spots. Wonderful! I do not use things in my kitchen if they can't go in the dishwasher.
