These are a wonderful addition to the kitchen. Half of the knife has very small serrations, and the other half is dull, never sharpened. They cut wonderfully but I gave them only four stars because the serrations do not extend down the length of the blade. Also it is recommended that serrated knives be sharpened by a professional only, so it can't be done by the average cook.

I bought these knives for my parents for their anniversary. They'd only had dollar store type knives before, so they are very impressed. I own Henckels 4-star knives, and I have to say that these aren't even in the same ballpark. The knives are lighter and don't cut nearly as well. That said, my knives cost a lot more. For the price I paid, I feel that these are a good value. And my parents this they are the greatest.

Good Steak knives for the money no question about it. The only thing that kind of "bummed me out" was that I thought they were straight edge so that I could sharpen them. They are not. They're serrated so be aware of that.

Even though it is their Gourmet & not Pro-S, which all our other knives are, they have a similar look & they do a great job of cutting through meat, especially on steaks. I had been looking for a good serrated steak knife to replace our old knives, and this is a great replacement, very sharp with a good feel neither too heavy nor too light.

Good for everyday, good weight and construction. Great value with the knife block.
