    Works as advertised---makes smoothies WITH ICE in mere seconds!! Is a bit loud, however, but the power is worth a little noise. I bought it to make salsa, which I can in large quantity. Too many "dumps" with a food processor---the large capacity will be very helpful. I have not used it for salsa yet, but I can see how it would be easy to make it pureed smooth, instead of chunky.
