I was disappointed in that when I rested the spoon on the edge of my pot, it hung down into the food.

Don't Buy
by Lisa, IN

I bought these thinking they would work on all pots and pans but I was mistaken, and I don't remember reading anywhere on the website that they only worked on Rachel Ray's pots and pans. If that is the case it should state that before you order.

Ladle Set

I was very disappointed with this 2-pc set. I tried it on my pots and they just fell in. The slots on the spoons were too large for my pots. Unable to use. I am considering returning these spoons but do not want to pay return postage.

Green Lazy Spoon Set

December 3, 2010

The first thing I noticed was that they were extremely heavy and not at all pliable. I didn't remove them from the package so I don't know if they would grip different sized pots. The main reason they are being returned is because they were to be a gift for my sister who is left handed and this set could not be used by a "leftie."

Dissapointed with this purchase

I have Rachael Ray knives, cookware, and casserole dishes, and love all of them. I purchased this product thinking it would be a good purchase for me. I read the reviews and they were very positive. However, for me, the material for these spoons were too soft and almost gel-like.

They only work with her cookware. What a joke!!! And what is the reason for them being sooooo heavy?

I like the spoons over all. however they do not fit my pans. I am thinking you have to have Rachaels pans and then they work better.

These are the heaviest spoons I have ever lifted. I like the concept of the lip slots but why do they have to be so heavy, especially the ladle?

These cooking tools are clumsy and feel like barbells in your hands. The only original idea is the resting slot for the side of the pan but the tools are way over the top on size and weight. I ordered two sets as gifts. The unopened set will be going back as fast as possible; the other, already opened package, has been disposed of.

My disappointment
by Andrea, CA
January 25, 2009

I was very disappointed when I received this item. No where was it listed that it was a heavy utensil, and awkward to use.

When I put it on the edge of any of my pans, it just sunk to the bottom of the pan.

It might be good for a 6 or 8 quart pot but I don't want to be cooking silicone in my food.

I was disappointed that my shipping was not reimbursed considering what I experienced.

I thought this product was really cool when I first saw it on 30 Minutes meals, but found out that it only works on her cookware. I will use them, but not as much if they fit all types of cookware.

the weight of the spoons is heavy in the hand while cooking. The tilt of the spoon is not sufficient for my pots.

Resting spoon & ladle
by Dawn, NE
December 17, 2010

The ladle is pretty shallow and seems more like a spoon. The design of the spoon is odd. You turn it on the side to hook it on the rim of the pot. You can't put a lid on the pot if you are using these tools. I have a very small kitchen and thought it would take less counter space and be less messy than using a spoon rest, but I found them awkward to use. I was disappointed. Rachel always makes it look so easy.

Lazy Spoon and Ladle
by Jill, AL
March 31, 2011

At first I thought they were great because of the thickness of the material, because I knew it wouldn't melt or get scratched. My husband didn't care for the thickness, he thought it was clunky. But what bothered me most about the spoon and ladle was the feature that I bought it for; to rest it on the side of the pan. The slits on the utensils were too wide for my pans. If you have Circulon Cookware, beware that they are too heavy and the slits are too big and they wont hold up on the side of the pan as advertised. It just fell into the pan. :(

Appear to only fit Rachael Ray cookware
by Pia, PA
April 4, 2011

I was really excited to order & receive these spoons only to find that they didn't fit on the side of my soup pot, which is not a Rachael Ray brand. The notches in the spoons are way too wide for my thinner cookware & the spoons would just fall into my pots. It should be noted on the website that these spoons will not fit many brands of cookware. I'm extremely disappointed that I wasn't able to use them and had to return them to the Food Network for a refund. The shipping charges should also be refunded to me since the spoons wouldn't fit with my cookware.
