After I brought the bench scrape, I found one at walmart that I liked just a little bit better. The handle also acts as a 1 cup measure and it had the imprint of a 6.5 in ruler on the front of the blade, all for $6.97.

Great way to shovel the food!

I love this thing. I bought a different kind of bench scrapper, but it didn't have the cool sides on it to keep the food from sliding out both ends. This is great. Very effective and easy to hold and manipulate. You can really scoop up a lot of ingredients at one time! Thanks Rach!

    Best Scraper

I have bought other scrapers in the past and they were uncomfortable to hold and didn't scrape things up easily. I made homemade pot pie last week and this worked perferctly to scrape and lift the dough off the counter because I roll my dough very thin and other scrapers would smash the dough or tear it.

I am very pleased with the bench scrape, but was really disappointed with the shipping charges which equaled the price of the scrape!! I hope Food Network can work together better as I had ordered two things and these could have been put together for one shipment. I will definitely be looking at the shipping charges as to whether I will order again.

I love the shovel but, feel the cost of shipping nearly discouraged me from buying.

I think this is the best thing to have in the kitchen. I think the cost of shipping and handling is excessive. I paid more for S/H than the product.

I wish it had a silicone sleeve to store in the drawer. It is pretty sharp to just lay in a drawer.....

    A kitchen must-have!

This little kitchen tool is a definite must-have. It is not too big or too small. It scoops up all of your food so easily for transer. I absolutely love it! The only down side was the shipping cost. It cost as much to ship it as the item itself. That was ridiculous!

It is a value except the shipping charges were exorbitant.

I like the use of the shovel, no problems there however when I washed it in hot soapy water the metal changed color not all over but spottly.

I got four of these for gifts and wish I hadn't. I thought Rachel Ray items would really be good, but it is not the quality that I expected.

Great for scooping up chopped food. Much better than using a knife as I've done every time in the past.

I have wanted one of these for awhile, Rachael always makes picking things you've just chopped look so easy with this scraper. I use it for everything I chop. Price of the item was great, but don't understand the shipping price, more than the item and the box they shipped it in could have fit 20 scrapers.

Very happy with this gadget. Surprised at the ease it provides in prep time. Not glad that it cost practically the same as the product inshipping costs. But overall a must have.

The handle is padded for safety. My old scraper had a metal handle which I cut myself on several times. I like this scraper much better.

I watch the Rachel Ray Show and see her use this scraper all the time. I couldn't wait to get mine - it is great for scooping diced vegies into a pan. I use it almost every day. In fact, I love it so much I ordered one for my mother and one for my sister too!

    My new sidekick kitchen tool
    by Joyce, MI
    December 21, 2009

Absolutely love the bench scrape by Rachel Ray. It is my steady companion in the kitchen to scoop up cut veggies, etc. Very sturdy and looks like it will have a long life. When top chef Michael Symon was on the show he said he felt naked in the kitchen without a bench scrape. That says it all!!
