I've watched Ellie on the Food Network several times and her food always turned out looking so good! I found one of her recipes online and gave it a shot and it was great - my husband loved it!! I'm not the best of cooks and am slowly learning how to become better, but her recipes are easy to follow and come out looking like something you would get at a restaurant. We bought the cookbook and are in the process of trying a new recipe at least once (sometimes twice) a week. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone who is looking for healthy alternatives and loves great tasting food. 5 stars for sure!!
Fantastic book! Vegetables never tasted so good. Her recipes inspired me to cook and eat healthy with great pleasure. If you are a product of what you eat, I can only hope to get her beautiful glow.
I purchased this cookbook so that I could eat healthier. Every recipe I have tried has been very tasty. I have started losing weight. Its been slow, but very steady. As a diabetic, the healthier eating has also lowered my blood sugar, increased my energy level and improved my cholesterol. I can still have chocolate and not feel guilty. I exercising regularly (3 times a week). I would recommend this cookbook to everyone. The recipes are very tasty and guilt free.
I am a big fan of Ellie Krieger's show and I usually get on line and get the recipes of what she prepares,and we just love her style of cooking.It is so simple and healthy and most important it taste sooooo--good.The book is full of interesting information and helpful tips,the recipes are quite easy and the pictures of the dishes prepared are actually mouth watering.This has become my favorite cookbook in my collection and I plan to purchase a book for each of my three daughters and granddaughters too.
