8 slot knife case
by KERRY, TX

Not a bad case for no more than 5 knives. More than 5 knives and the case is so crowded the blades start grinding on the next knife. It's ok if you carefully close the case and put it away laying flat. However, start moving the case around by the handle, sitting it down, picking it up over and over, if the case is full of knives, they will have collided enough to ruin a blade or two. Keep the big knives on the ends, the steel in the middle and a couple of smaller knives around the center. Leave empty space between the larger knives to prevent them from slamming into each others blade. Overall feeling is, it's great for keeping the good specialty knives away from the family everyday users, little fingers, and they stay organized.

pure lies
by vincent, QC

i bought it because the discription said: Nylon cordura. This is pure lies. This product is made with 100% polyester cheapos. I am reall ypissed about that, cordura is like 10 times stronger have a more luxurious feel and is softer and look better as well. dont claim nylon cordura when there is no cordura tag inside! and the finish of the case is so cheap the knives are rubbing together! my 150$ knive, eh no thanks!

Design & Durability
by Daniel, CA

For heavy handled knives this can be hard to fold . I am very satisfied for a weekend Warrior chef as I am . Serious Chefs should look at something more "solid" . I am loving my purchase and would recommend this to my old Hand-Stiched "Levi" jeans "prototype" .

I am pleased with this case, but I wish I would have bought a larger one. I only have three knifes, but I like to keep other essential things in there as well. Something a bit larger would suit my needs better, but this is still a great case.

I haven't had the chance to use this yet but, I travel a lot to visit family and when we get together we cook. I always take my knives and needed something to put them in so that no one got Cut on them. I like the fact that there is an inner flap that covers the blades, I didn't know that before I purchased this case. I wish you would have had a picture of the inside of this product. It also has extra pockets for kitchen gadgets. I like it.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Take good care of your knives and they'll take care of you in return. Always hand wash them, then dry and put away immediately. Running them through the dishwasher will make the blades rusty.
