Stoneware Bubble & Brown Large Baker (4.5-qt.): Eggplant by Rachael Ray

I have the 2 set bubble& Brown and simply love them. I did not realize how large this one was until I opened it. I don't know when I'll use it but decided to keep it because it is too costly to return. Since I got it for 20% off and shipping was free, I decided to keep it. It would have been of better use to me if it was a 3 quart. Why did you jump from a 1.5 quart to 4.5?

This was bought as a replacement for another large baker that after only a few uses @ 350 degrees cracked straight up the middle. After purchasing this item I read many Internet reviews from people that had the same problem. I hope this defect has been fixed, and I look forward to sharing my opinion with many others via the Internet. There's no substitution for customer satisfaction.

The item took so long to be sent that I had changed my mind about keeping it. I had to spend $45 to send it back, so this adds to my great dissappointment.

This baker is very large and heavy. This makes it difficult to store. I am sorry that I purchased it, but sending it back would be too expensive because of the size and weight. It would probably only be used for cooking a turkey or something large. Thus it would only get used on holidays.

I wish this was OK to use on the cooktop. Very pretty for serving.
