This is a wonderful product, cleaning the discoloration from even our 'old' pans. The directions suggested using a damp sponge, which worked fine on our newer pans. With our older pans I actually just applied the cleaner to a paper towel and rubbed firmly. It took a couple of tries, but they look new again!
This product worked much better than I expected. I thought I had ruined my stainless steel steamer cause of the discoloration from accidentally forgetting to put more water in it while it was heating on the stovetop. I applied the product, and it got rid of the discoloration instantly. I was very pleased and impressed. Thank you.
I hate to tell you this but Chantal did not work well at all. I had to use Easy Off which is not supposed to be used on Aluminum.
I thought my stainless steel teapot was ruined when it was left to boil dry on the stove. The Chantal Cookware Cleaner removed the heat discoloration with little effort and now my teapot looks as good as new. Of course, I gave my stainless steel sink a quick polish as well. What a shine!
I bought a Chantal Stainless Tea Kettle about five years ago, and I love it. I boiled it dry once, and couldn't find anything that would clean away the brownish tinge that covered my kettle. I finally found this cleaner made by Chantal, and it works like a charm! My kettle is once again shiny steel.

Finding the right lid to match a piece of cookware can sometimes be a pretty challenging puzzle. Use sticky notes to label each lid with its mate (i.e. "8 quart stainless stockpot") and you'll save time and stress. Just be sure to remove the notes before using, and replace when the lid is clean and ready to be put back.
