After the first time we boiled water in the pot, we noticed there were markings (like pitting) in the bottom of the inside of the pot that won't come out. Don't think this should have happened, correct?
Food network offered a code for free shipping. In the checkout process there was no where to enter that code.Love the pan but didn't like the checkout process at all.
I think the features of this pan are great - the pouring spouts, the holes in the lid for draining, and the measurements inside all make things easier. However, the pan stains inside. The first think I cooked in it was corn-on-the-cob. I boiled water and added the corn - no added salt. There was a ring around where the water level was. I've used it since then and it just gets more stains. The pan looks like I've had it for years, but it functions well.
I purchased this sauce pan because of its unique depth and diameter. I really like it's shape and capacity. The lid design is nice because it has two sizes of drains. The look is stylish and I think this pan is a winner. I have Viking, All Clad, Le Creuset and Kenmore pots, pans and Dutch ovens in my misen place. No other manufacturer has this unique sized pan. Way to go Emeril!
