I had to return it as it was the wrong size and ultimately ended up buying a "universal" insert from Le Creuset as All-Clad apparently doesn't sell a steamer insert separately.
Very, very unhappy with All-Clad.

I just returned this item because it didn't fit in my All-clad stock pot. I like all the All-clad pots and pans but recommend you not order it before you know the exact size of your previously owned stock pot. Please give me the refund faster.

This is a nice large steamer that fits my 6 qt All Clad stockpot perfectly. I did not want the small little 2 and 3 qt steamers and was looking for something bigger. The sides are deeper than I thought they would be which is great. I don't like the little shallow steamers or the collapsible steamer inserts which are dependent on the depth of your pot. When I'm steaming larger bulkier food in other steamers, they have a tendency to touch the lid of the pot. The depth of this would eliminate that problem. If I ever made tamales, this would be a good steamer for that.
