Pots get scorched when using high heat. Lid handle here extremely hot. Outside and bottoms of pots and pans gets discoloured after first use.

We are just starting to cook more at home. Watching the Food Network we noticed most of the cookware was stainless steel. However, most sets costing $600-$800 we decided to go with this set. So far we love it! If we start to cook more and become true chefs maybe we'll updgrade. But for the price - we are very happy!

This particular set of Emeril ware is a less expensive version of All-Clad. I like the design, but the sides get really hot and food leaves marks,even after washing thoroughly. All in all I still prefer Stainless steel to teflon coated.
