Whether you've got layers for a three-tiered birthday cake or a big batch of chocolate chip cookies, these sturdy cooling racks will keep your baked treats high and dry. This system of three racks, each with collapsible 3-in. high legs, features horizontal cooling wires spaced 0.75-in. apart and stabilized in three places with strong vertical wires. Each rack can be used individually, but they are easily stacked--just move the legs into standing position and nest the small rounded feet inside the lower rack's grid area. The 3-in. between racks allows even the tallest cakes to have good air circulation.

I thought this stacked rack was a good idea, but it's not as useful as I predicted. The grid is too far apart for cookies, and cakes sag through the wires.

I made massive amounts of Christmas cookies and this would have come in real handy. I had cookies cooling all over the place, when I could have had them stacked and left room in my kitchen for cooking. I bought 3 sets of racks and can't wait to make more cookies and actually have room to work while they are cooling.

Cooling racks.

The racks were delivered promptly and in good condition. They work well. They stack well together and the legs, basically, lock into position. They move stiffly, which is good. They do not flap around when not in use. A very nice product all in all.

This stacking rack works as advertised. I really like that you can use each rack individually because I make biscotti and need to do the second baking on a rack. This worked great, just pulled each of them apart and put them on cookie sheets. Each rack is slightly smaller then a large cookie sheet.

The spaces between each wire are too large. Not good for use of the smaller spritz cookies. They fall through the rack. Other than that, an excellent product and space saver.

fantastic idea

I live in an attic apartment, built for one but lived in by two. i believe the kitchen is a converted closet. either way, these things are a great idea, they hold about three dozen cookies at a time and only take up a small amount of counter space. they also sit on top of each other pretty steady, so if you need to move the whole set, you don't need to be scared, just careful.

These low-price set of 3 cooling racks are very sturdy. You get 3 of these for almost what you pay for ONE good rack. I use them in my kitchen for cooling other things--stuff that cones out of microwave/toaster oven. They're a nice height whether the legs are up or down.

Good Cooling racks, which I've used many times. However, when stacking they don't lock together (easy to bump), and the metal is very easy to bend: mine have already started bending after only a months worth of use.

I do a lot of baking and normally have cooling racks in several places during the process. Now cooling is consolidated to one spot. This is a huge space saver. Definitely would recommend this to others.

I love these racks. They save counter space & cool at the same time. This is the second set I have bought I like them so well. Now I can double or triple a cookie recepie & have plenty of room for them to all cool.

I have not only used this rack to cool cookies on, but also to roast food on in the oven. It cleans easily, especially when you let is sit in some water overnight. It's easy to stack and seems pretty sturdy. It endures high heat and doesn't rust. It's truly worth the money!

These cooling racks come very handy. I use it for my cookies, toast, fried chickens, etc.. If you get this, try to think of other ways of using this. I am very happy I got this because I just love baking. I could not find something like this at a store. It's easy to order from Cooking.com.

These look like a great idea if you don't have a lot of counter space. But they are smaller than they look, and in order to stack them up, your cookies can't be on the ends or they get smashed when you stack them up. They would be great for cakes that fit in the middle of the racks.

This saves space when baking batches of cookies.
The only problem is the grates are spread a little to far apart, so if the cookies are still hot they tend to seep in between the grates.

Does the job just fine!

This cooling rack does what it needs to do. I didn't give it a 5 because although they are stackable, they don't have a place that secures them together. So, if you bump it a little, they could come down. That would be the only thing I would say that concerned me (my 7 yr old was stacking and accidently bumped it).

Overall, this is a great value, easy to use, and is compact, so slides in behind cookie sheets, etc with ease.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Make sure to cool your cookies, cupcakes, and muffins on a rack so air will circulate underneath, preventing sogginess. Cooling racks are also perfect for pouring ganache or a thin icing over a cake; the excess will drip away from the cake, instead of pooling at the bottom. Slip a sheet of aluminum foil underneath for easy cleanup.
