Spice Carousel (12-bottle): White by KitchenArt

This product is great for organizing your spices -- I do use them more because I can find them easier.

BUT... my cupboard smells like spices, and it never did when I kept the spices in the original bottles. This makes me believe that the carousel is not airtight. I am concerned about how well this carousel will retain the freshness of my spices over the long term?

Also, the lids are hard to open (not good for someone who has arthritis of any kind), and over time I expect these to break off. Lastly, the 1/4 dispenser seems to dispense more than 1/4 at a time? I haven't measured it because most of my cooking so far hasn't been that exact (sauces, casseroles). For baking though, you can bet I'll be back to measuring!

If you want great organization, this product is for you. If you want organization and good function, keep looking.

I really like the fact that you can either dispense 1/4 teaspoon at a time, use it as a shaker or pour the spice directly out of the container. The only drawback is that it is very difficult to remove the lids to fill.

Shipping time was excellent and so was the product.

I really do like this product. It is very convenient, easy to use, and looks great sitting out on the counter top. However, I am a little disappointed and suprised that of all the spices the salt and the pepper leak slightly out of the bottom. I had to empty those and put others in them. That said, I am still considering purchasing another one to stack.

This is a very nice product. It has good weight and looks better than the picture.
