Soup Bowls (Set of 4): White by BIA Cordon Bleu

I ordered these 4 bowls thinking they would be great for Onion Soup, but they are not as big as they look in the picture and I would not recommend them to friends,there is no room for the onions, bread and cheese, it will be too small a portion, also it scares me that they were made in China with all the inferior products they send us, it might not have been taken care of with the lead, since it seems they have no quality control over there at all

Upon returing from a recent vacation to France, I was thrilled to see these soup bowls on your site. We had French onion soup served in bowls like this in France and I loved them. However, it was too difficult to carry these home and not cost effective due to the current exchange rate. These bowls are priced right and are delightful for serving soup in! Give that old world charm to any occasion!

Item were just as described and perfect size for the soups and pot pies I will prepare in them.

We have been on the hunt for the perfect french onion soup bowls for a long time, these are it. They look small but are the perfect amount for a nice hearty bowl of soup. They clean up great and are dishwasher safe so that is nice.

I have been looking, for quite awhile, for bowls that are safe to put in the oven. Mostly for when I make French Onion Soup. What a pleasant surprise with these bowls. Not only are they oven proof but the size of the bowls is wonderful. They hold the perfect serving of soup. The only thing that disappointed me was the lions head. You can't really tell it's a lions head but, in the long run, who cares
