The recipes in this book are healthy, but they use odd ingredients not easily found in the grocery store. Furthermore, none of them fit my family, as we have a small child who is not used to the different types of food featured in this book. I was looking for easy recipes for food I would actually recognize.
I ordered this because I had her other cookbook. I was disappointed because this is not like her other cookbook. It has full meals instead of just individual recipes. I'm sure there are a few things in this I will make, but I did not find as many things that I liked and wanted to make as I did in her other cookbook.
Haven't tried any recipes yet, but they look wonderful!

I've always loved Ellie, I think she ROCKS! She always has the best, healthiest recipes ever. I have made many, many, of her recipes from all her books - their delish! Grant it - your not going to want to make every recipe - everyone has different tastes. But all-in-all it has a lot of great recipes that taste great. I have many favorites; I would highly recommend this book as well as her other books.
