got this pot with my discover rewards points- is a great size for sauces and heating up my kids' lunches- just need to watch the heat- it's not a non-stick pan so keeping food from sticking can be a bit tricky; overall it's very quality-made and cleans easily- would definitely recommend

I love this pan. This is not my first Calphalon purchase but it is my first Calphalon stainless purchase. I had stainless cookware many years ago and there is absolutely no comparison between it and Calphalon. This pan is a bit heavy but that's one of the things that makes it so great. It sits flat on the stove and doesn't tip or move when stirring, etc. The handle is long enough I haven't had any problems with it getting too hot. I followed the suggested use instructions making it a dream to cook with. If I was several years younger and cooking for a family I'd consider the entire set. Because this pan was being offered at such a great price, I asked my granddaughter (she's in culinary school) if she would like one. She chose the non-stick. She agrees with Grandma that it's a great pan and she loves hers too. I may just have to get us the 1.5 qt. size next.
