I gave it good ratings because out of the box it was everything I hoped it would be, but I haven't used it yet, so I can only hope that it cooks as good as it looks!

yes i like my jumbo fryer for the price i paid because i got it for only 39.99 and regular 89.99 i would not paid 89.99 for it . there know skillet worth 89.99 cent to me.

Do not know how I did without it. Have been telling all my friends about it.
Everyone should have one in their kitchen.

This is a very good utensil because: 1) the sides are deep and there is less chance of spillage, 2) the see-through glass lid allows you to view the process of cooking without opening the top and letting out the heat 3) the long slightly elevated handle is very convenient in moving the fry pan around and 4) it's easy to clean.

This pan is awesome. I have only used it a couple of times but I am very impressed. Love it!

The pan is just what I was looking for. I have used it several times and love it. Room to turn and stir food when cooking. The non-stick surface works great.

I have used the jumbo fryer a few times and although my first impression of it "out of the box" was that I was going to be disappointed because it is very light weight for it's size. I was surprised when I used it, that it held temperature well even though my burner is quite a bit smaller. Pork chops were nicely seared, and eggplant fried up evenly. I found that I liked that I could comfortably lift it due to the lighter weight. I will be using it instead of cast iron frequently.
My husband however, does not like it very much. I would recommend this for a female, but for male cooks I would not.

I ordered one of these for myself and i just love it.It has even heat and doesn't stick. I ordered this one for my son in law .He is a great cook ,so i can reap the rewards.

It's a Calphalon pan and the size is perfect because we are using it like a wok.

The pan is more than expected. I really like the tall sides, makes flippin' easy.

The best investment ever. You can use very little oil to get thew best results ever!

The Nonstick Jumbo Fryer was a Christmas gift for our son. He loved it! We were very impressed with its strength and style. Now we are thinking about ordering one for ourselves!

Pan cooks with very even heat and is easy to clean up after use.

Splurged to replace A beloved, but scratched, nonstick sauté pan. This one is better. Nice and big, cool handle, easy to clean, and do not need to be as careful (can use metal utensils).
I cannot speak to it's longevity, but am happy thus far.

The subject cookware is the best for the price. Each item that I own and use heats evenly and cooks the food items superbly. Each item is easily and thoroughly cleaned by hand. I trust Calphalon.

Everyone loves my fried chicken and when we have friends over or we go to friends or family functions I'm usually asked to bring fried chicken and this jumbo fryer is the perfect size for doing up a large batch of chicken. I would have liked the fryer to be of a heavier gauge, seems pretty light weight.

Jumbo is JUMBO. Too large for ANY of my kitchen cupboards.
The long handle plus hand grip makes it easier to handle than my 10 inch everyday pan, but it is in the way when I'm not using it.
