    Very Nice Pan
    by Susan, NY
    November 19, 2008

I was a little concerned about the roughness of the inside of this pan. I really wondered how it could be so rough & be non-stick, HOWEVER it is WONDERFUL! I have cooked a variety of things in the pan and all has been wonderful. It's nice & deep so you can turn things like homefries without them flying out of the pan! I would recommend this pan to anyone who cooks for a crowd!

    My go to pan

The 12 inch nonstick jumbo fryer by Calphalon is my go to pan. I use it for sauteing, stir frying, making one dish meals because it can go from the stove top to the oven with no problems.
    Love it.

I love Calphalon cookware. It is truly non-stick, and a breeze to clean. If you use the cookware properly, nothing ever burns. I love it so much, that I have started to buy it for my daughters.

    I do like the pan
    by Pamela, OK
    December 16, 2009

I do like this pan, but I am waiting to see if the bottom stuff flakes off like all the other calphalon pans that I bought.

I would have preferred this to be an Emerile pan, but so far so good... I've only used it twice so I can't really say how study it will be.

Definitely good value for the price. I can cook at lower temps which saves electricity. Heats evenly so everything cooks at the same rate.

    Delivery faster than expected.

My pan arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I'm very pleased with the results I've had so far. The pan is heavy and spreads the heat nicely so I get uniform browning. I love the glass lid!! I made an omelet and could see it rise and knew just when to put on the cheese, turn the flame out and re-cover to allow it to melt a bit before folding. Pork chops came out nice and brown and very moist. I want to try coddled eggs next. Thanks for a great product. JMPhillips

I love this pan. Great size for a lot of different things. I would highly recommend this product and the Kraft Store. The buying experience was painless.

This pan was larger than what I expected, but the size makes it easy to cook a one pan dinner for the whole family. Especially with a recipe which requires simmering in the sauce, because there is plenty of room. I found this pan to be very versatile.

    Bad deal
    by DOROTHY, OH
    March 30, 2010

When I inspected this item on your website, it clearly stated that the product was made in the USA (Toledo, OH). When I opened the shipment, the product's box clearly stated "made in China".

    I only use the lid.

    Nice deep skillet

So far we really like using this jumbo fryer. However, the first one arrived damaged. I do not know how it could have passed inspection by either manufacturer or cooking.com. The metal around the lid edges was bent in 2 places. That is not something that likely happened in shipping. In addition to not having it for use when I wanted it, I had to pay to ship it back. I think that is totally unfair. In my review of cooking.com I am dinging them for that since it is their policy, not the pan's fault. As far as the second fryer is concerned, we are very happy with it. We like the size, the finish, how easily it cleans, and the two handles make it easy to lift.

    Cheap construction, warps
    by Douglas, NC
    January 11, 2012

I bought this because it was a "special value". OK, I was suckered. The pan is very thin, I suspect not multi layered, and it has warped in less than 10 uses. I am surprised Calphalon would put there name on such a a lousy pan.

not because the quality, just because i bought the wrong one. I live alone, and it's too large for me. Later I bought an 8-inch pan, same brand, on this website. As far as the quality is concerned, I think they are good, at least I like the 8-inch one very much. Beautiful pan, and works well.
