    I bought this set as a shower gift for my niece. I own quite a bit of Calphalon, and it is the best for the price. I highly recommend this cookware.

    my reason for not giving your cookware a five rating is that it cannot go in the dishwasher, also the outside of the pans I've used so far have become darker with a splotched and duller finish.

    Look- for the money these are ok...and they are Calphalon yes BUT just be aware- like other members have said- these are TINY! I'm use to cooking BIG meals and love eating leftovers but not gonna happen with these babies- good for meals for 1-2 people and I certainly wouldn't recommend these for people with families. These are ok for a second home but I wouldn't have them in my real kitchen!

    Lost 1 "star" only because I had older set.

    I had a similar set from 1991. The new handles are better but this set feels about maybe 20% to 30% lighter. I liked the heavier ones. The new ones are also slightly smaller. That said, if I had not had the older set I'd be giving these 5 stars all the way. Great product. I only replaced the 1991 set because my ex-wife ruined some of them when we split.

    Love this cookware set. I have used at least one peice out of the set everyday since receiving. It maintains heat well and cooks evenly. Omelets are a breeze. Cleans up wonderfully.

    I realy love cooking with this set. They heat evenly and you don't have to use a lot of oil or butter. I would have liked to see a 3 quart sauce pan or something similar. The 1 and 2 quart pans that come with the set a really too small to do anything with.

    I'm really happy with this set - just what I was looking for. They look great, cleanup is a snap, and the lids are handy. Every time I cook with one, I mention to my husband how much I like these pans! He agrees.

    The "outside" surfaces of the fry pans and pots scratch VERY easily....otherwise the cooking is even and the quality if very good.
