Country of Manufacturer

The ad on the web page stated that the "country of origin" was the USA. However, the label on the product said "made in China". I had specifically chosen to order from the Kraft store because of the "made in USA" statement and had rejected other sites because they stated that the pan was made in China.

I bought 2 pans knowing that I would need the extra popovers when family visited. I wasn't disappointed. My daughter requested popovers a number of times the last time she visited and I didn't mind a bit. The pans released beautifully and the popovers had a lovely golden crust that held butter and syrup for a delicious breakfast treat.

The pan worked well.

This popover pans worked very well, once we worked out the quirks, such as adhering to the recommended instructions. They company wanted us to preheat the pan for a minute, put a pad of solid butter or margarine into each cup, then pour in the batter and proceed with their heating/baking instructions. The result for us were popovers which were lighter in color than the toasty color and crisp shell we were used to with out older pans (which we had to dump as the batter consistently stuck to the cups and made it difficult for us to pop out of the pans) and tasted partially done. With the older nonfunctioning pans thrown out, we ordered these.

But since we reverted back to the older recipe and did not preheat the pans nor drop in a small pad of butter/oleo before pouring in the batter, they worked excellently at the normal recommended temperatures and times of the older pans.

These pans are keepers for us. They are truly nonstick!

Hesitated in buying this pan a little while because I had used pyrex custard cups successfully for a while. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a lot easier to use than my old method and the popovers were nicely browned and rose higher.

I finally found a popover pan and I love it. It is easy to keep clean and making the popovers is a cinch . Just pour in the batter, stick it in the oven, and 30 minutes later out they come, puffed way up high and golden brown. I have lost count of how may times I have made the popovers since your pan arrived. Thank you so much.

I've wanted popover pans for years but thought they were too expensive for how often I would use them. I don't know about the rest of the world but my neighbors think I'm the best cook in the world. They loved my popovers, that makes me happy, and THAT should make you happy.

No kidding, the bread was teriffic and they almost jumped out of the pan, no messy clean-up. Teriffic product.

Thanks a lot for making me look good. Clara Bielecki

This is a solidly constructed popover pan. The popovers turn out much better than when I used my muffin pan. They really popped. Light, airy and delicious. Make sure the pan is oiled well and pre-heated for best results.

This purchase is a replacement for a 10 year old popover pan that had started 'sticking'

One suggestions for those not familiar with making popovers / Yorkshire pudding --- Melt excess beef fat in each cup. Remove and cool from the oven. Remove all the remaining beef fat pieces. When ready to make the popovers, place the pan back in the oven till the fat is almost smoking.

QUICKLY as possible - Using a pastry brush (or just swirl to coat all the sides) coat the entire inside (yes this is a non-stick pan BUT the popover batter requires some small amount of fat) Pour off the excess fat - as any pools of oil in the pan will sit on top of the batter at it will not rise properly. About 1/8th of a teaspoon should remain in each cup

Immediately pour batter in each section and quickly place in the oven.

I had a cheapo popover pan where the metal stuck to the popovers, so I trashed it and got this one. I make popovers alot and this pan is easy to clean and the popovers come right out. No Complaints.

Nice large size, and very easy to remove the popovers from the pan. The only thing I don't like is that it's too long to fit into my countertop convection oven.
