Perfect cookie bottoms
by Jolene, MA
December 2, 2009

The Silpat will convert beat-up old flimsy baking sheets into serviceable equipment that allow for just the right amount of cookie "spread" during baking and perfect golden bottoms. I can't wait to try some other recipes, like parmesan crisps!

SILMATS
by Shirley, NV
January 13, 2010

When I first saw these silmats on the Food TV Network about 4 years ago, I ordered one and I've been totally pleased with the ease of taking cookies and other baked goods off without sticking to the pan or even turning dark color underneath my baked goods. I love silmat, it's the best thing on the market.

Bakers Delight
by Jerry, CA

Silicone liners (Silpat) are such a great addition for baking. I use them all the time especially for cookie sheets and they are fabulous. Whatever you bake on them comes off easily and cleaning them is a breeze. They cool quickly so you can get by with 2 of them and rotate them when baking lots of cookies. I stopped using parchment since these came out some time ago and prefer these over every other non-stick product or method.

So far, so good.

I bought two of these on recommendation from a food blog I love to follow. I have used them for cookies, biscuits and rolls, and for the rolls and some of the cookies it meant no greasing the pans -- and it worked great! I am not sure I have seen the full potential of them yet, but I am certainly not dissatisfied. I just haven't had them long enough to become a huge believer yet. I wish I knew of an easy way and place to store them well.

Silpat Rocks!

After reading various recommendations elsewhere, I tried Silpat for the first time in making cookies this holiday season. It minimized clean-up of the baking sheets, and the cookies baked evenly. Although not inexpensive, the Silpat helps reduce baking errors and is reusable.

I've only tried it once and it seemed to work fine. I think it is going to take a little getting used to: I'm used to slathering a cookie sheet with butter to get things to not stick. So far, Silpat is great.

This is the first silicone liner I have used and have bought another one after a great experience using it. I would recommend it, especially to people like me who usually don't have luck with baking.

This product is absolutely cool! Great for making yam fries, baking any foods from meats to veggies or cookies.
No mess baking and you don't need cooking spray for anything! (Fewer calories and healthier eating. Easy to use, clean and store.

Making skewers? Absolutely no mess, no more trying to clean baked on foods on your pans, either.

I highly recommend this. It is worth the cost.

Enjoy!!

Silpat BAKING sheet
by Janice, AL
April 11, 2011

This is my second Silpat baking sheet. I love the great job it does in baking cookies and other recipes that tend to sticky. I do, however, think that it could be priced a little lower. I am a housewife and grandmother who loves to cook and bake with limited income. I really hope others in my income bracket could afford to purchase helpful products like the Silpat. I had to save up for the purchase of this product. Because of knowing the price ahead of time, I was able to plan for the purchase of a new Silpat sheet while using my old one. Thank you for making this and other useful items available to us, your viewers
