the wooden spoons were smooth to the touch when i got them but after washing by hand, they felt a little rough and lost their smooth coating.

I love these spoons, the only problem was the large spoon came with chunks out of them that left the edge of the spoon jagged and sharp. I sanded them down and hope that does the trick. What's the point of shipping them back and waiting for new ones?

Used while cooking a beef stew when I 1st rec'd, slow cooker receipt took 5 hours the spoon worked well and looks wonderful. Cleaned well.

I loved this set! It makes stirring items in a nonstick pan so much easier, but I use it to stir in my bowls as well, because the quality is so much better than the ones you buy in the stor. Other utensils are plastic or metal, and either melt or damage my cookware. I also love the brass hanger. Very good quality, and looks nice as well

These spoons are beautiful yet practical. They are a great size and perform wonderfully. They are a breeze to wash and do not stain. I love them! They are a great additional to my kitchen and look great in my gadget crock.

I purchased the 2pc set for my self. I was pleased with overall appearance of spoons. I have used them and they are very sturdy. I think the set is worth more than I paid.

These spoons are solid and a good weight. The grain is pretty as is the hardware. The only complaint is that one of the spoons had a pretty big chip out of the front edge when they arrived. We didn't think it was worth the trouble of sending them back, but check yours when they come out of the box.

I ordered 3 sets of the wooden spoons... two to give away and one to keep. Two of the sets were a beautiful dark wood and looked very rich. The 3rd set, which I'll keep for myself because it's not as pretty - looked like plain old pine - only a tiny strip of darker color on the back. I understand that there is a difference in the color of wood, but this was quite obviously drastically different in looks. That was the only thing I was disappointed in.

would have preferred more of a spoon shape rather than a paddle shape. handles are to short. will be returning this item.

I love these spoons, just wish I would've ordered these for myself. But the big spoon was chipped at the very tip of the rounded part. Other than that these are great quality.

Very nice wood and very durable. I like these because the handle is not flat, it fits your hand and is very comfortable to use

Was very excited to get these spoons from the reviews that I read but was disappointed in the quality of the spoons. On one of the spoons, the wood was splintered on the side and there was a piece of wood sticking out.
