I did not use the pan. By looking at it, I could tell it was a good, heavy, quality product. Very useful for any home cook. My daughter makes cheesecakes for sale. Since she cooks more often, I gave it to her.
This is a nice heavy saucepan.
I love the Sauspan with the spout as I have use of it daily. It is small and handy for so many uses.
I do a lot of baking and its excellent for melting
chocolate, butter, boiling 1 cup of water for my Humming bird feeder and being able to stir in the sugar to dissolve and bring to a boil again to keep it sterile for the birds in order to keep them from getting diseases which they can get easily. They take only 1 cup at a time, so the size of the pop is excellent.
To tell the truth, I burnt my other pot which was just like this one, and did not discover it till I smelled it and went out to the kitchen and THEN remembered it. Good thing I didn't burn the house down. So I had to find a pot just like it and
Paula Deen was the maker of my set. So I can't say enough about my pots. I have used the old
Revere Pots since I was married in 1947 and have just used then since finding these since the Revere pots are not made anymore. There are great and I love them. The lids are also VERY
nice to have. That's all I can say about them for now. Thanks for the opportunity. dorisnattinger@sbcglobal.net
I used my butterwarmer to melt butter for my candied sweet potato dish on New Year's Day. I usually melt my butter by placing it in the microwave. This pan was so much better. I would definitely recommend this product to any great cook!
Nice heavy pot; good for butter, melting, and all sorts of things! Easy to clean. Looks nice too!!!!
