    I haven't used it yet, but based on appearance and all the others I have seen or used in the past, this is terrific and I will use it very soon.

    I use this to melt chocolate for candy. Love to make cheese dip melts slowly and keeps the dip warm with the water in the pan. A great pan to use for all cooking. Enjoy

    Every time I stuck an ill-fitting an into the sightly bigger pan with the boiling water I would tell myself, "I have GOT to get a double boiler.", but then sticker shock would strike. Finally, a quality double-boiler, solid in feel, great in looks, AND at an affordable/reasonable price. WOW - what a concept!

    It was worth the wait.
