Awesome stovetop coffee pot - great value!

Wow...I had not idea what I was missing by not using a perculator. I've shopped around for perculators and found them to be too small for the gi-normus price they were asking. When I ran across this one, I thought I would give it a try. The coffee taste so much better. If you are currently using a drip coffee maker, why not buy one that won't "stop working" and makes better coffee for less money. No brainer - right? Paula Deen was absolutly correct in her video. This is a truely wonderful coffee pot. Quality is great as well.

love this new addition to my matching pans. Only thing i'd love to have seen differtily was a rubber grip on the coffee pot handle. Yet i do still enjoy making my coffee.

Learned very quickly that it does not have 'auto off'! Turn on and ignore is not an option.

I bought this little percolator in case the electricity fails. After a trial run, I declare it the perfect little coffee pot. Some folks complain about the hot handle but that's what "camp fire" pots do. PLEASE, do not change its integrity. Use a potholder!!!! I love it.

    Cute Percolator

    October 25, 2011

I would have loved to receive a Paula Deen's percolator that was perfect. Unfortunately, the first one had the paint chipped off under the knob of the lid--I think this was because it was packed with the lid upside down and the strainer chipped the paint. The second one that I received, the lid did not match the bottom part. What a disappointment. I am hoping to still get this, but, at a local store so I can visually inspect it without causing others a lot of work--me, included. Overall, I have heard nothing but good things about this percolator. I have always had a drip coffee maker.

    spout

On the inside of the spout (where you pour) there are a couple of places where the paint is not covering the metal... I am somewhat concerned that this might result in rust in the near future... other than that, it's too cute...

Love Paula Deen's percolator. I have her cookware and was wanting the percolator to match. I actually don't use it to percolate, only to heat hot water. Thank you Betty Crocker for a wonderful product.

    Nice memory of the past.

WE love the coffee pot. Really nice, however was a little disappointed in the fact that the hand joint where it was attached to the pot had a hole where the finish or glaze didn't fill in. It doesn't affect the coffee though. The look is great. Reminds us of days gone by. The price was very reasonable. Makes great coffee. However I've been spoiled and haven't had to wait for my coffee as we have a kuerig and it's almost instant. I have to sit by the stove to make sure it doesn't boil over when perking. And then wait, but it's only about 7 minutes after it starts to perk. The coffee taste is worth the wait. Thank you Paula.......love you
