Just a little Disapointed. Used a knife left it in the sink when I washed it I noticed it already had rust on it.

I was very pleased with this set! The knives are well balanced, easy to use, and super sharp! The block is a very nice weight and the wood is beautiful. Now we finally have a knife set we can be proud to sit out on the countertop instead of hiding in a drawer!

The knives have a good weight and the handle feels balanced in the hand. Have not had them long enough to know how the cutting edge will hold it's sharpness. But I am pleased with them so far.

Great set. Really like the feel of these knives and like that there is a sharpening steel provided. I specifically chose this set for the value and was looking for something that had a heavy bolster and thick tang that went the entire length of the knife.

Two things I did not like:

1) The steak knife do NOT have the thick bolster, although the tang fallows through the handle. A bit misleading in the picture but a minor issue. All other knives are awesome!
2) I also received the two additional 'Santoku Knife Set by Paula Deen' which I am very pleased with, however, there is no place to store these knives. I wish the storage block would have had two additional spots for these knives.

I use them all the time and very pleased so far.
