this is a great product and with the self sharping case I find myself playing a lot. the handle has a good grip and my hand holds on better then a metal or wood handle knife. the price is a bit steep even with the case. i would have purchased four of them for Christmas if the priced had been lower say twenty five dollars or so.

Great handle. Smooth to the hold and it sharpens itself every time you take it out or place it back in to its holder.

This is such a cool knife, but watch out for your fingers, speaking from experience, but still love my knife. Would totally recommend purchasing. It really stays sharp.

I read the reviews on this so I wasn't expecting much with this knife and I was pleasantly surprised. It's so comfortable it has replaced my custom made Japanese knife for everyday use. My hand just fits it, it cuts beautifully, NO complaints.

I have been wanting this knife for a long time,and when i had seen the knife holder that it comes with and automatic sharpner, i was sold....and the price is right! i am telling everyone......my college kid, who also loves to cook, says thats one hell of a knife!!

Love the weight and balance of the knife. Nice handle. None slip grip. Wish it came in other colors besides orange. Orange is the signature color that Rachel Ray loves. I have a bakeware set that is blue, & love another knife in the blue. Love the protector that duplicates as the knife sharpener, so very handy. So much better than the RADA knives I have used in the past. Its a great purchase. A MUST for any kitchen.

This is the sharpest knife I've ever used - I was almost afraid of it at first. But it is also easy to use, and my other knives are seeing me less often now.

Best knife I ever bought. Now I enjoy being in the kitchen with my wife helping her with dinner or getting it started before she gets home so there is hardly anything for her to do. I am disabled, in a wheelchair and felt like I couldn't do anything. Now I try to get around the kitchen and try to do things. I would definitely purchase again. Thanks Food Network. I looked long and hard before I purchased this knife. It has been a joy to use, even my son-in-law was surprised that I had picked out such a wonderful knife. (He's not stupid, just German), just kidding. He is a chef and I think he was surprised that I had done as much research and looking for the right balance. Thank heavens for Rachael Ray.

There are so many features I love about the Essential Sharp Store with East/West Kinfe. I know every time I use this knife it will cut perfectly. I love the cover and the stand. I saw this knife on your show one morning. You said this product was new and as soon as you took it out of the sleeve and said it is self sharpening, I knew I just had to have it. I am going to get one for my daugther. She loves your show and she loves to cook.
