I make a lot of home made bread and needed a knife that would slice through it effortlessly without squishing my bread. My husband and I love this bread knife.It is a high quality blade and handle so I am pleased with the price we paid. It slices with such ease. I don't think we will ever need any other bread knife. Be careful though, handle with care as it is super sharp. This length is perfect for all of our bread cutting needs. Im going to search more in this brand for my other kitchen needs and a knife block.
