It would have been helpful if I could have seen sample recipes, via internet, before purchasing the book. I am not an experienced cook. I also live in a rural area that is extremely limited on cooking items/supplies. It would have helped to see what items were in recipes before purchase.

Thought it would have more "home made down to earth" slow cooker recipes. Looks like it has a few good ones though.

I haven't had c hance to prepare any of the recipes yet but just after glancing through the recipes don't seem as appealing as I hoped when I ordered.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Salmon is delicious, healthy, and oh-so-easy to prepare. Here's what you need to know about shopping for it: Wild salmon is deep red in color and has a richer taste. Farmed salmon is pinker, milder and much less costly. If you can buy wild salmon, definitely opt for it.
