It would have been helpful if I could have seen sample recipes, via internet, before purchasing the book. I am not an experienced cook. I also live in a rural area that is extremely limited on cooking items/supplies. It would have helped to see what items were in recipes before purchase.

Again, very well done. Excellent diversity. A fine sequel to Semi-Homemade Slow Cooker Recipes 1. Add discussion on braising or not braising raw meats possibly? Another discussion on the value of having a well stocked pantry? Both publications well worth the money.

I love this cookbook! It's easy to follow great recipes for the slow cooker-which is even better. My family loves all the meals I've been making and it couldn't be easier or quicker for me. I especially love the pictures of each recipe-I dislike cookbooks without pictures because you can't see if it looks good enough to make or not. So, a picture with every recipe in htis cookbook is great. I really like Sandra Lee's show too! The extra tips she gives go a long way. Thanks

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter who is a busy working mother and wife. For our new year day dinner she made a desert that was outstanding and we all were enjoying this treat, she kept expressing how easy it was. She's looking forward to doing a chocolate beef stew. She's so excited with this book and that worth the purchase. I'm thing of getting this for myself.

OK, I am a cookbook junkie. But, when I use the cookbook and, more importantly, have good success with the recipes, well that says it all. I have tried a few of the recipes so far, and they have been just great. The Thanksgiving Dinner was really good. Although it didn't look like much...that could have been because I cooked it much longer than I was supposed to...It tasted very good.

The recipes are clear, not fussy, and the pictures are sharp and make one want to try them all. Stating the size crock pot to use is very helpful.

I have type 2 diabetes and am always looking for better ways for healthy meals. I like what Sandra Lee does with the crock pot. I watch her when possible. I would love to be able to go over to house and eat supper one day. As long as it's not clams or shrimp. The only seafood I like is fish. But I do like Sandra. She really seems like a very sweet person.

Love this cookbook - The recipes are easy to prepare, many need only a few everyday items and the food is awesome. I would and have recommended this book and have passed on a few of the recipes. Will plan to pick up any other slow cooker recipe books she puts out.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Salmon is delicious, healthy, and oh-so-easy to prepare. Here's what you need to know about shopping for it: Wild salmon is deep red in color and has a richer taste. Farmed salmon is pinker, milder and much less costly. If you can buy wild salmon, definitely opt for it.
