I make frozen smoothie drinks and have found this blender to last longer than most. I have had to replace the jar once every few years but the base has been working well for many years.

This worked perfectly for about a week. Then the nut that holds the blade in place sheared off. My old one lasted me for years with heavy use. It would be fine today if I had not dropped it one too many times (it finally smashed on the tile.) Good thing I saved it to salvage for parts.
