Attractive and good value for the price

I bought this rectangular serving platter (having only seen the picture online) as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. I was happy, when I received it, to see that it looks to be a good quality platter. It is nicely glazed with no obvious flaws. The weight of the platter is substantial -- leads me to think that it won't chip or break as easily as a lighter weight platter of similar material. I think my daughter-in-law will be pleased, as this is not only an attractive serving platter, but the size should make it useful for a lot of various foods (cold cuts - meats and cheese; veggie/relish tray; hors d'oeuvres or canapés; etc.).

Perfect match to my china. Solid substantial piece for serving, or party food, attractive, with many options for use. May get another.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When serving chicken to a crowd, think about 6 ounces of boneless meat per person or 8 ounces of bone-in. A 3-pound whole chicken should feed between 2 and 4 people, depending on what else you serve.
