The book is great for those who can afford a few of the items necessary to create her wonderful food.....fixed income is going to be tough....some items will be only needed once in a while so worth it others Im not to sure of but will not give up...I love to watch her cook and even discussed her salt with my Doctor he said go for it...........
Bought this for my stepmom as a Christmas gift. Although when I ordered it the site said it may take longer to ship, I had it in plenty of time for our early celebration with my dad & stepmom on the 19th. She cooks everyday for 2 but entertains often. She loved the book & found a lot of recipes she would like to try. A gift well received.
I really like Rachaels cook books. The only thing I would like to see is a break down of fats, protein , cholestrol, and trans fats that are in any of her recipes. The other recipes that are on line don't have this information either. Thanks firstname.lastname@example.org
