Designed for both straight and serrated blades, the Chef'sChoice knife sharpener, in red, performs in a three-step process, giving your dull knives precision angles. It uses 100% diamond abrasives in stages one and two then uses a unique stropping and polishing in stage three for hairsplitting sharpness. The EdgeSelect allows the choice of optimum edges for gourmet, butcher, sporting and serrated knives.
Wow, knives have never had an edge like they do now! Sweet!
It took a while to get the hang of it but once you do, you will not be disapointed. Knives are razor sharp and hold their edge for a pretty long time. I did not give it top scores on how it works as expected as to I have done alot of research on these and know they work good. I had no issues decribed on the low reviews. Good unit. Lives up to its claims.
I gave my old reliable knife sharperner to my brother for his RV and, all of a sudden, I didn't have one. I immediately thought of Paula Deen - found an electric one in red (matching my kitchen colors) - read the reviews and bought it. The directions are terrific, and even better that that it works!!! Hurrah for Paula Deen!
I have had this product in use for only a few weeks, so far, im very satisfied with the results that i get from it, i may purchase another for my sister. The red color that i chose is very attractive.
I am from Israel, and learned about your product from the Internet.
As I understood from a previous communication with your representative,
you do not manufacture these tools for 220 Volts, and do not ship international.
I recommend you DO !
It is not an easy proccess - but having it shipped here and using a transformer
we are extremely happy with the product and just hope we have no unpredicted problems.
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Ehud Leibner

Contrary to what you might think, a sharp knife is actually safer than a dull knife. The important thing to remember when chopping and cutting is to let the knife do the work for you. A sharp knife allows you to do that, but a dull knife requires you to exert more pressure to get the job done, which means your hand has a greater chance of slipping.
