The Professional End Grain is the most trusted by gourmet chefs around the World. The End Grain Hardwood blocks help keep knives sharp, while providing a tough and hygenic cutting surface. The boards are reversible and has fingers slots.
Products offered by Catskill Craftsmen are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill Craftsmen operations generate no wood waste.

I cook everyday for my family and for my husbands lunch and I use the cutting board all the time. It is exactly what I was looking for. It has a great appearence and it is the professional grade that I wanted. I keep it out on my counter all the time. I have also recommended it to a few of my friends. This is a great cutting board.
It would have been helpful to know when I ordered this item that oil protector was needed in order to use it. We had to wait until we got the oil to use the board.
This is a seemingly good quality product. We oiled the board as soon as it arrived.
I purchased this end grain slab from this company because they had so many different sizes. Secondly, the price for the end grain was substantially less than their competitors. Finally, it's just a beautiful kitchen accessory. The only major drawback is that upon wiping down the slab for the first time, the oil finish almost came completely off. I think that one should try oiling it a couple more times before using it for the first time. I would also suggest to the company to add some small pegs on the bottom of the cutting board so that it would not lie flesh onto the counter top. -C San Francisco
I put slide protectors on the bottom so that it wouldn't slide around on the counter

Chopped Carving Board (20 x 14-in.) by JK Adams

When you need to gather up your chopped ingredients on your cutting board, don't scrape with the edge of your knife; it will dull the blade. Instead, flip the knife over and use the non-sharpened edge to collect, then transfer, your ingredients to the pan.
