Well folks, my review may be suspect as I bought the grinder in order to grind pieces of chicken (bone included) for dog food. However, it handles it well. Had borrowed the same model from a friend to try and liked it. Then researched on line and it seemed the best deal for the price. Hers has held up well over time. It's reasonably easy to clean and well-balanced when pressure is applied in order to engage a piece of meat with the grinder mechanism. It is really important to make sure the blade is placed facing the right direction (which is kind of counter-intuitive) or the machine appears to work, but not well.<br> Just imagine what I'm putting mine through. For regular meat grinding, it's probably really, really good!

Great design, power and performance. Easy to clean and standard size cutters are available anywhere if you need another size.

Waring Pro Meat Grinder

We make our own raw cat food, and had been using a Kitchen Aid mixer attachment. We knew the wear and tear was going to destroy it, so we researched and bought the Professional Electric Meat Grinder by Waring. Although it was twice as expensive as the next lesser model, we're glad we made this decision. The grinder weighs enough to keep it steady even when putting chicken necks through it. It grinds consistently, and when something does not appear to be going through easily, a quick flick of the reverse lever gets everything going smoothly again.

Very strong grinder. I am well pleased with the purchase so far. Using it to grind deer, beef & pork. This is the first electric grinder I have purchased. Easy to clean.

needs too frequent cleaning and clearing during use. cutting blades do not fit closely enough to cutting plate to shear connective tissue causing ground meat to stay connected to meat still inside grinder creating obstruction.

Next time you're making burgers at home, try branching out from the traditional ground beef. Use other cuts of meat such as ground lamb and mix with hamburger meat for juicy, flavor-packed burgers.
