Forno Brovo' stone is pricer, 1/8 thicker and professional grade. American Metal craft is 1/8 thinner. Best Manufacturing product is the best compromise for home cooking. Overall, my pizza taste great. There is no negative smell associated with this product and the crust cook to a crisp. The product did stain after some sauce came into contact with the stone but this has no effect on cooking. Forno Brovo may be the better product but is not appropriately priced for the home consumer and also not produced in the USA or Italy!! Best Manufacturing is made in the USA and is lead free and unglazed.

This is a replacement and I had a hard time finding the size, quality and price that I liked. This one is a bit smaller but good enough. I just got it; so I have to season it before I use it for pizza and bread recipes.
I keep it in the oven just to maintain even heat whenever I use the oven. I recommend a stone for everyone who has an electric oven.
