A perfect seafood meal can be ruined when diners end up "fishing" out bones between bites. This innovative tool, the fish bone tweezers, is from Global, makers of fine cutlery - the ones used by many sushi chefs. The fish bone tweezers will help you quickly and easily remove pesky bones and such from whole fish. You'll find the attractive modern design includes a textured handle that makes it extra easy to grip and maneuver. The smooth contours and seamless construction prevent food and dirt particles from collecting on the tweezers. Quality stainless construction will remain like new when hand-washed.
When I first bought these tweezers I thought they were a little pricey, but they are worth every penny. They are very durable and they can stand up to a challange. You get what you pay for.
I never knew they made a item like this. I look forward to using it.
Not an everyday use item but good to have in the arsenal. Superior product and design!
Excellent quality for the price, large and sturdily constructed, allowing for a good grip for your hand and for the bone you are extracting. you just can't use a pharmaceutical tweezers to extract fish bones. Excellent product.
We live on Cape Cod and eat fish at least twice a week. After literally decades of pulling out bones with my fingers or cutting away good parts of the fish to get rid of them, this is the specialist tool I have been dreaming of. Well made, good grip, seizes the bone -- altogether a world away from bathroom tweezers. It does seem overpriced and I felt I was paying for the Global brand name. Still, I expect to have it forever .

The old saying about how you should only eat oysters in months ending with an "R" is still partially true. September- December are when the oysters are caught and are therefore at their freshest, but advances in storage means they can still be safely eaten in other months.
