The ingeniously simple bar pot rack was designed for smaller kitchens, apartments and modestly sized cookware collections. Pans are securely hung on cast metal pot hooks that rest between wooden rails. Hooks can be turned to show pans face-out or sideways like books on a shelf. The set includes pot hooks and installation hardware. The suspension hardware positions the rack at a convenient height from an 8' ceiling. Available in two lengths with either natural wood or metallic gray finishes. Must be suspended from solid wood.
This pot rack is the perfect choice. It is well constructed, sturdy and looks great. We needed something in a narrow space without wall mounting and that would match the cabinetry. We have it hung in front of the kitchen window and a small wall-mounted hook unit above the countertop. It does not block light or the wall hooks. We get alot of compliments on it. It also makes the small space useful and it's a convenient height for 8ft or less ceilings. I can see this being used for other space saving hanging needs such as in a basement or garage where ceilings may be low and wall mounting is not available.
very pretty just what it advertised it would be.
Great product. With VERY limited storage in my kitchen, I had no place to put my pots and pans. They sat in stack on the two back burners of my range for 2 weeks before I finally purchased this rack. Now that it is up, my range is clean and tidy, and my six favorite (and most frequently used) pots and pans are easily accessible, hanging over the sink. Just a note: The hardware included did not hang the rack low enough for me.I am not tall, 5 foot 7 inches at best, and i couldn't even reach my biggest pan. A quick trip to the hardware store solved that, I purchased a handful of 'S' hooks, now the rack hangs lower and I can reacha everything.
Excellent value for the price! I purchased this to display a new set of cookware, as well as the fact I have limited cabinet space and really needed the space that my pans took up for other things. It looks fantastic and the cookware is up and out of the way allowing for more storage in my cabinets.
This rack comes with heavy-duty eyescrews that are meant to be installed directly into a joist, but since I live in a remodeled 100 year-old house, I wasn't sure just exactly what is above my ceiling. As it turned out, my helper friend found the joist to be in the right spot; however, I only wish that a more clear description of the mounting would have been mentioned on the web page. I purchased 40lb plant hooks with the butterfly mounting just in case, but I didn't need them. The mounting hooks supplied must be screwed only into wood joists as drywall only won't hold a rack fully-loaded with cookware!
