I previously had a lemon squeezer that was a gift and while it worked extremely well, the enameled paint peeled off on parts of it and that was a concern. I am hoping this one will hold up better.
I bought one of these about a year ago for our vacation home. Like it so much, this one I purchased for our other house. Would also make a great stocking stuffer. Great for kitchens or bar drinks.
I really like this item; I have watched folks on foodnetwork using it and was happy to learn that you sell it. Thank you. J. Sharp
This Lemon Squeezer is excellent! I had one I'd purchased elsewhere and was very unsatisfied with it; the bowl wasn't big enough to take most lemon halves that I tried to insert into it. Then I saw Melissa d'Arabian using this squeezer and I KNEW it had to be better - and it was! The handles are longer (more leverage = more squeezing pressure) and curved slightly, which makes the squeeze more comfortable. Finally, the bowl is bigger and seems to pretty much easily accommodate any lemon half I put into it; I love this tool.

The zest of any citrus fruit is the brightly-colored outside of the peel. Use a peeler to remove strips of zest, but make sure not to cut too deep. You want to leave off the white part, called the pith; it's bitter.
