    Doesn't get better than this!

After years of grinding coffee beans at home this coffee grinder is the most expensive one and the best one I've ever purchased. I highly recommend this product if you appreciate less mess, less noise, easier grind selecting and a coffee grinder that is easy to clean.

This is a great coffee grinder. The motor is quiet and you can set the grind easily and it DOES make your coffee taste (and smell) better. I'm glad I bought it and it looks great on my counter. The only thing I can say negative is that the last few beans have to be pushed down the shoot because they catch on the lip of the bean hopper and I want to have every bean ground. Otherwise this is a great grinder.

    Good Purchase

For a long time, I weighed the price of this grinder and its potential service life against cheaper models, most of which would only seem to my understanding to last for a year or two. I've had this kitchenAid grinder for about a month and am move than pleased with it. I definitely recommend it.

This coffee grinder does what it is supposed to do and it does it more quietly and cleanly than any other I have ever had. I do wish the footprint was a bit smaller but what are you going to do.

    KitchenAid Coffee Grinder

I upgraded from blade to burr grinder. With a blade grinder I knew how many scoops to put in. With the burr grinder, I count to 10. I like being able to dial in a size for drip and press coffe and notice an imporvement in my coffee. I have had this machine for one month and report no problems at all.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
