I wanted something wide enough to cook bacon, in particular - this skillet worked great. Bacon came out evenly cooked & I had much less grease spatter
The only thing missing is a lid! That would have been better!
I had the two smaller sizes and are very pleased with them. Som when my current 12 in. died, it was a no brainer to purchase this pan. I love them.
